Shwetha Menon’s macho avatar in Naval Enna Jewel

Actor Shwetha Menon will have a dose of testosterone in her upcoming Mollywood flick Naval Enna Jewel. She will be seen as a male character in the movie, which is directed by debutante Ranji Lal Damodharan. The news was on the table for a while and was confirmed by the actor in a recent conversation. “It is true that I am playing a man, and I am the hero of the film. My co-stars are Adil Hussain, Reem Kadem and other actors of international repute. They have a different way of approaching their roles, and it’s something different and definitely challenging,” Shwetha revealed to TOI.

Even though the makers and Shwetha keep mum about the whereabouts of the movie, sources suggest that it deals with the life of an Iranian girl born to an Indian family. Naval Enna Jewel will shoot extensively in Oman. The movie will speak three languages, Malayalam, English and Iranian. “I am going as a student to the film’s sets. I want to learn on the way, as it is totally different from what I am doing right now. But to be honest, I am very nervous too. Once I’m done with the film, I might have a lot to talk about,” Shwetha told in her conversation with TOI.

Her most popular commercial was the Kama sutra ad, which visualized various sexual intercourse positions.

After some important and unimportant cameo appearances in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, she made a stunning comeback with the human rights activist’s roe in the Mohanlal flick Keerthi Chakra.
